Threads of the New Dawn — Volume 1 (script rough draft)

Serafina is a homeless transgender woman living on the streets of a major US city. Takahiro is a Japanese businessman on a trip to the United States, dissatisfied with his path in life.  When a kooky goddess appears to Takahiro in a dream and tells him he's been chosen to be sent to another world as a Hero, he accepts — but a chance encounter with Serafina before he's taken causes her to be caught up along with him and swept into Gesarn — a world of magic, fantasy creatures, and 13 demonic Infernals sent to destroy it all. Serafina gets the new start she always wanted and a chance to work with the Hero to make a difference — but her presence is also a complicating factor that the gods did not account for.

Threads of the New Dawn is intended to be a fantasy graphic novel building off of, but also subverting, the isekai genre. It is currently only in script form — I do not yet have an illustrator, but I will be looking for one once volume 1 is finished. To generate interest in the project, I have decided to release the rough draft of volume 1 chapter by chapter as I complete it. I have quite a large number of volumes planned — somewhere around 18, give or take.
